Museum of minerals

Our unique museum, which is said to be one of the most prominent in the Eastern Alps, is the result of a long-lasting passion in our family for searching and collecting minerals. On a 300-square-meter exhibition space you can marvel at over 1.000 mineral exhibits from the local Zillertaler Alps and the Hohe Tauern region which were formed approx. 30 million years ago in the depths of our Earth.

Opening hours

From June until the End of September: Monday til Saturday

from 9.30 a.m. to 12 p.m. and from 2 p.m. to 6.30 p.m. (no rest day in July and August!)

From October until the End of May: Monday til Saturday

from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m.
