Marxegger Alm
Sled fun
The Weißenbach Valley is known for its enchanting winter landscapes and rustic alpine huts. One of the highlights is a sled run that leads down into the valley and is illuminated in the evenings. Torch-lit hikes are also organized for visitors.
From the parking area next to the sports field and guesthouse (1,350 m), a short walk takes you to the lower end of the sled run and the starting point of the hike. Follow the wide, well-maintained forest road as it winds steadily through the forested slopes up to the Innerhofer Alm (1,743 m, approx. 1 hour), and then continue for another 30 minutes to reach the Marxegger hut (1,761 m).
