Mountain Lake Maler

Starting point: Valley floor of Rein in Taufers/Riva di Tures (parking place)

Follow the path n. 1 through cool woods until you reach the refuge Kasseler after approx. 2,5 hours. Afterwards, turn right to continue along path n. 1. It leads you to a steep gorge which has to be forded through a stable bridge. Once reached the other side, the trail becomes a little rising. After crossing rocky promontories and mountain meadows you finally reach the lake Maler at 2501 see level (from the refuge you need approx. 1 hour to get to the lake)
