Schönberg

The hike begins at the parking lot at Schönbergalm and starts leisurely on a wide forest road. From here, the trail can be followed either along idyllic forest paths or continuing along the forest road towards the inviting hut. Continuing along Trail No. 5, the path winds through the forest, leading up to the tree line and the "Kaserle-Oberhütten" (2164 m). From there, the route continues across grassy slopes interspersed with rocks, crossing a small ridge and then ascending a short, secured rock ridge that leads easily to the summit cross at 2273 m.
