Easy hike with kids
Take the road to the center of St. Johann / San Giovanni (1020 m). At the intersection of Hotel Schachen turn right up to the eastern edge (Festhalle) of the village. From there go up near the “Sandbichlerhof”, where you will find a parking place. From there follow the forest road (corresponding signs) easily up to Niederhofer Hut (1603 m).
