Brixen

Brixen, the oldest city in Tyrol , celebrated its one-thousand-year anniversary in 2001, just as long it's the seat of the bishop.

The city has got a varied cultural programme to offer: Ancient lanes, squares and medieval arcades characterize the historical city center. Brixen is chock full of treasures and attractions like the main cathedral or the Hofburg Palace. The mild climate of the Valle Isarco valley makes vineyards and frui orchards flourish in this area.
