Alpine hut Schwarzenstein

Starting point: San Giovanni - mountain hut Stallila (1,472 m; restaurant and parking). The directions to «Schwarzensteinhütte» take you to the mountain huts of Gschöllberg and Daimeralm (1,862 m). The signposted «Gletscherweg» starts on boulders or snow and continues with sections on rocks equipped with safety cables. The steep ascent continues relatively easily up to the Rifugio Schwarzenstein- Vittorio Veneto (2,922m, at least 4 hours from the car park)
