Sled run Rio Bianco
Three sunny huts with great sled amusement
The Weißenbach Valley is known for its breathtaking winter landscapes and charming alpine huts. A particular highlight is the illuminated sled run that leads down into the valley—perfect for a fun descent after a cozy break. Torch-lit hikes are also organized for an extra touch of winter magic.
Several traditional alpine huts are open in winter, including:
-
Pircheralm
-
Innerhofer Alm
-
Marxegger Alm
From the parking area next to the sports field and guesthouse (1,350 m), a short walk takes you to the bottom of the sled run and the starting point of the hike. From there, follow the wide, well-prepared forest trail as it winds steadily through the snowy forest up to the Innerhofer Alm (1,743 m, approx. 1.5 hours). Continue for another 30 minutes to reach the Marxegger Alm (1,761 m) and the Pircheralm (1,810 m).
All three huts offer sleds for rent.
