Bärental Alm

There are two routes to reach the alpine hut:

Start directly from the village of St. Jakob and follow the forest road No. 7 to the Tischleralm and then on to the Bärental Alm; this route is also suitable for strollers.

Alternatively, take the cable car to the Klausberg mountain station (1,600 m). From the mountain station, follow forest road No. 2 to the Schwaiger Höhen. Ascend toward Hochfeld Alm (1,837 m) and continue into the Bärental valley to the Bärental Alm. The descent leads down to St. Jakob.
