The refuge is on the highest point of one of the most beautiful hiking tours in the Rieserferner-Ahrn Nature Park
We recommend to ascent through the beautiful valley Windtal nr.12 (with the starting point at the parking lot in Kasern). You can return the same way as the ascent or to return through the colorful valley Röttal nr. 11, which will bring you back to your exact starting point on the parking lot in Kasern.
